- Four-year degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent preferred
- 3+ years of professional experience in this role, or a relevant and similar role.
- Experience working with Kotlin/Java, Kafka, SQL/NoSQL DB
- Experience working with Postgres/Redis/Mongo or other database technologies
- Experience working with Business Rules Engine Management system like Drools
- Experience with Spring Boot Framework, Gradle, Kotest or other unit & integration testing framework
- Willing to work in a team-oriented environment
- Experience in cyber threat or fraud detection
- Ability to demonstrate analytical expertise, close attention to detail, excellent critical thinking, logic, and adaptive learning
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Good to have UI development experience using React
- Good to have near real time systems experience
This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
